This is really going great. You really establish the atmosphere of the desert. I like that Pasquale drives an antique Cadillac. That seems appropriate for him. Morales is torn. Part of him wants to head back to Texas; yet, he's determined to unravel the mysteries of Pasquale. It sounds like there will be a power struggle between the two. Pasquale seems to have a whole arsenal of supernatural effects at his disposal. judi

Hi, Judi. Thank you very much for this very generous and gracious review. You are right on track about the shaman--he has a psychological advantage because he has been facing devious people all his life. Morales will learn that knowledge alone a man does not make.
