Hi Sharyn,
I have been watching this moon for three nights now, it's spectacular, mesmerizing sight and a wonderful imagery of the silence that God allows us, as earth goes to sleep. Full moon's do it for me, I feel the power from the sheer beauty of it. A beautiful poem Sharyn, loved the layout, the visual and the sentiments you delivered, take care.

Gold hole in the sky... love that! God's looking down, all right. I wonder what else He does besides watch us and deal with prayer requests? Sunday is His day off, but He works anyway, I'd bet. :)

gives us a bit of relief from the more righteous views of hellfire & damnation Phyllis - I've had my fill of those lately! I much prefer the more benevolent version! (Mine) :)))S

God's not sending anyone to Hell. He might put them on a gray, soggy cloud way in the back of Heaven, but He'll understand how their minds got all confused. He knows what they were taught, and not taught, as kids, how desperate they are, and sometimes that minds get broken and don't think clearly. And I'll bet He'll spend a lot of time down in that Heavenly Ghetto trying to set them straight. Catholics call it purgatory. Makes more sense that eternal damnation and pain no matter what horrific mistakes you made.
So, I'm with you all the way. The whole idea is to forgive our brothers, so if we're expected to do it, surely The Boss will. :)
