Very nice magazine-style story, FionaG! (And I mean that as a compliment.) You hgave a firm grasp on your pacing and storyline, and the story has a good sequence of events. I found just one small error;

This is a very romantic story. I like the tension created with the "Pit, pat of the rain in the beginning which reminds me of a clock ticking (and being late) and the rain is like a sign of tears to come. The blood trickling down her leg and relating it to her heart was good. I enjoyed reading this.
