a well written and entertaining story, even if hair-raising for you as a parent. My goodness - how many close shaves can one boy have! well done.

Thank you so much for the review and comments. He certainly provided me with much material for writing. As an adult, he amazes me with his creativity but he still learns by making mistakes.

This adventure would make any mom want to find a cell to house the kid in! The story is full of action. The pace is fairly well sustained throughout. Good job relating the activities with descriptions which hold the reader's attention. Four stars are only because of the amount of errors detected.Editing included below:

He persuaded my husband and I (persuaded my husband and me)

"Oh, no problem, Rick and I have ( "Oh, no problem. Rick and I )

(It would have been interesting to have ear to the wall for the conversation that {have an ear to the wall}

he was hot and tired and long way from Rick's house (tired and a long way)

He needed me give them my credit card number (needed me to give them my credit card)

disaster causing my hair to go bit grayer.

Thank you for the review. I've gone over these corrections you suggest several times but you've failed to put the corrected words or forms there. I've gone over these several time and I only see one that definitely needs correcting. It is the one where I should have put an s on the word tool. Could you please tell me what is wrong with the others.

Wow! he's like a cat with 9 lives! He surely
will supply you with lots of story ideas.
Loved your telling of his adventures and
near misses. Kept my interest to the
very end. Writing is clear and dramatic with
great descriptive detail.

Thank you so much for the review and comments. I'm amazed that he has escaped with only a few broken bones. He does seem to have more than his share of close calls and you are right. He provides me with plenty to write about.

Hi, Beth. What an adventure, for Don as well as his mom! I wonder how he is now ... Maybe after everything is over, this is something sweet to remember! (I note some slips of the keyboard : This might have been why he ... (had?) enough time on his hands to go sightseeing alone. facinated --> fascinated).

Thank you Belinda for the review and comments and for catching the typos. As an adult, he is extremely creative but he still learns his skills by making mistakes first.

Wow! This was a riveting story. I'm so relieved that your son was able to get immediate help for the snake bite--very scary! He sounds like someone who enjoys life as an adventure.

Thank you so much for the review and comments. I'm thankful I didn't know about it until the EMT determined he wasn't going to die from it.

Oh NO! He and Sam are two peas in a pod...God help us both Beth. This is so well done, each phrase describing another harrowing event just brings back memories of my son. Great account of this, and I hope you continue it too? "Time would prove me wrong." Tantalizing! ") xoxo. Susan

Thank you Susan, It sounds like you need to write more stories about Sam. I actually have written quite of few of Don's escapades already but there is more to write. One day I'll get them all together. There should be enough to fill a book. The problem is my son might disown me as a mother if he ever realizes I'm telling all this.

Oh, listen, just tuck them away Beth, and someday, he will cherish them, he will. They are at the age where this stuff is just insignificant to them, but someday, it will be , I HOPE??? something they want to have and read, maybe to your grandkids? ") I do know what you mean. Sam just reads stuff and goes, "that's nice, Mom, but it's a waste of time." Because I don't earn money for it. Art sometimes has to go unnoticed for a while? ") S.
