Hi Barbara,
Another good chapter to your story. I feel for Steve, officially married, yet only for show, officially guarding, but getting his duty tangled up in his emotions. Not a good combination. At least he's got Peggy out of his hair, now his "wife" needs to get better!

I enjoyed the interactive dialogue between characters in this work. It was easily understandable and with the prep it followed well.
I did not notice any obvious spag issues or spelling errors.

I haven't read any of your previous chapters, but I found this one to be full of life! Your characters have distinct personalities, you were very descriptive, it was easy for the mind to capture the setting and plot. Enjoyable to read, keep up the good work!

Your chapters are always so sophisticated regarding the intimate scenes which makes for a very engaging read. Isn't it just like man to notice a woman's underwear, even when she's sick.

Steven gets really angry because of his love to Leya. He is right to feel that Leya "is a paradox. She acts innocent, yet dresses seductively. I never know how she's going to react." And Ralph reveals himself as a wise man with his opinion about a 'real man'.
