As a music major (many years ago) I truly appreciated this poem. It follows the form guidelines and read nicely. Liked it a lot.
Keep up the good work - sherry

I'm giving you five stars. The poem was excellent! It flowed well. I understand what it was saying. Great job. I think I'm starting to see a pattern. You'll all over the website.
Good luck in your writing.

Oh, these short pieces are so hard to review! This is quite excellent in staying to the form and count. Plus, I like your subject matter and it's wonderfully descriptive

I have an eclectic cross if music I listen to from Andrea Bocelli to Marilyn Manson. It is part of our culture and heritage. Early in the morning the National Geographic Society has a channel and at that time they have music videos from all over the world. Great write. joan marie

I'm like you, Joan. I'll go from Jazz to Heavy Metal to Classical all in one day if my mood wants it. Love all of it! Thanks for telling me about the National G. program. I'll have to check that one out! Thanks for your review. :-)) Sue

This is a good one, and I like your choice of album cover--made out with a cute Greek boy many hours to it in middle school, in another life. :)

Cool story you shared there. "Made out". Haven't heard that term in eons. It's now "hooking up" and I mean "literally" - Yikes! A Greek boy, huh? In middle school? Hey, you couldn't have picked better music for it! Thanks for your great review. :-)) Sue

THis is beautiful, Sue. You've made the words practically sing and the flow is wonderful. It's a lovely form and I suspect it's more difficult than it looks. Good luck in the contest - a great contender I would think!
Warm regards.

Roisin, once you get that first 2 syllable word about what you want to write on, it just seems to flow from there. Just like we write every day. Who knows where it comes from. It's a mystery to me! HA! Thanks so much for your compliments and great review. Sue :-))

I think the contests organizer should always set the standard for the contest they have had the courage to start, I thank you for taking that brave step and for keeping the entry fee down of course. I think your offering is... Very good indeed, and it is something that we can all appreciate for sure. Who doesn't like losing themselves in music every now and again, whether you understand the words or not, you feel music it touches deep inside of us. You did a great job here Sue. I'll try and BETTER you of course, but know it is not going to be easy but I'll spin the bottle and see what awaits!
