You have my vote for it, Terry! She's been an angel on here. I know she'd been having a rough time when she wrote mine. She had a stack of them to do. I asked her to wait on mine until she didn't have so many, but she didn't. She just keeps powering on.
I think we should recommend it to Tom, if that's the proper route, a shout out to Sally Law as well for her Birthday poems amidst physical challenges.

I would be hard pressed to write those Birthday poems. I've had days where I written poetry, but very basic, lol. They are fancy on here. I completely vote for Debi for Writer of the Year!!

Feel free to nominate Debi for poet of the year. She has a great chance of getting it. Yes, she is the unofficial birthday poem writer. I wasn't aware of her having covid and I am sorry for her condition. She is a true believer in the spirit of fan story.

Isn't she wonderful? I love her so much! She's been very good to me and I go back and read all my Debi Pick Marquette poems when I need a boost. As you said, she writes these birthday poems while battling lupus and now Covid, again!
I stay in contact with her so I know this "get it done, get the art, select the music, etc., etc., and by midnight spirit" is true of her. She loves to be the first to wish us all a Happy Birthday.
I fuss at her, beg her to rest, but it does no good. She wouldn't have it any other way. That's who she is. I feel as you do about this special friend we share! We're blessed beyond belief! Thank you, Terry!

I knew she was having to go back and forth for treaments but I didn't know she had Covid again. I know she is having trouble with her eyes and has trouble seeing well enough to write but she manages to do a magnificant job anyway.

While I do not want my birthday announced on any social media, I recognize that others either do, or don't mind. (I usually give the wrong date and year for mine as I understand that identity theft is made easier with birth dates. Important dates used to play big in passwords. Not so much anymore.)
