This is an outstanding, well written posting for your friends (of whom I am one) and for FanStory as an organization. They could use this as a recommendation for the site as a place to discover friends and develop true friendships. One suggestion: In the sentence "It maybe a writing site, the may and be need to be two words. Good going, girl!

My dearest Helen, I hope you were able to pick yourself out in my story.
I just did what my dear mentor always tells me to do and write it as if I were writing an email to him. When you love to talk as much as l do,it is so easy to talk about the people you care for. I.appreciate all your kind words. I thank you for being that sweet friend! Much love to you my friend!

Nice job high-lighting those who have affected you and assured you on your journey.
It is also a bit sad when contemporaries leave the site. Just part of FS, I guess. I'm not going anywhere. Too much fun watching all you creative geniuses produce master pieces.

I think Jan is missed by everyone who knew her. She was an amazing friend to us all. She would fight your corner if she thought you were being put down. She did that for me. I cried my heart out when Yvonne told me she had died.
