Thank you. Blossom has been such a comfort since my husband passed away. She never slept on the bed until the day my husband died. It was like she sensed I needed someont clost to comfort me.

Thank you. Cats often live to be twenty or more if they are well cared for. My other five cats range from five to thirteen years of age.

I thought maybe at the end you would say, don`t look down but that would have been a bit clichè. A barn cat, no but sometimes yes. A determined cat, for sure. Fun story.

Thank you. Blossom has never been a barn cat since I rescued her. I don't know why she felt she had to be as high as she could get most of the time. At least she finally grew out of it.

A truly uplifting and thoroughly entertaining story. There is not much that can beat gaining the trust of an animal, is there? We adopted a new cat 4 weeks ago and went through many days of hissing, scratching, biting and bleeding. She now sits happily on the bed with us purring her head off. I have never seen a blacker black cat. She even has black whiskers! Have a grand day.

Thank you. I love balck cats. I wrote a story about my black cat a few weeks ago call "The Tripod Cat". You might enjoy that story too. Blackie is another cat I rescued and later had to have one leg amputated because of cancer.

Thank you. Blossom is one of the healthiest critters I have ever known. She has never been sick in all her twenty-two years on earth. She is still feisty and energetic even now.

Thank you. I love dogs just as much as cats. I wrote a story about my dog a while back. Blossom is a unique character. I would like to be as healthy as she is. She has never had a sick day in her life.

Thank you. Blossom is a unique character. I don't know how much longer she will be around, but she is healthy at this point.

Thank you, and thanks for the six stars. I am always happy to meet a fellow cat person. I love dogs and horses too but have always had a special spot in my heart for cats. They are one of the most abused of the animal species, and I have rescued many strays and dumped cats.

Thank you. Cats often live to twenty or more if they are well cared for. I'm glad you enjoyed the story even if cats are not your favorite animal. You either like them or you don't, and cats know if a person likes them or not. I love dogs and horses too, but cats have a special place in my heart.
