The story develops well but I must confess to being confused by the two different italic font sizes that you are using. I wondered whether using a totally different font for the thought communications with the aqua-beings, keeping italics for the ordinary thoughts. Your font is Times Roman but perhaps something like courier, the one that resembles typescript might be good for the cerebral communications.

I noticed the different type fonts and don't know how that happened and have tried to get it all the same, but still it ends up like this. It's fine on my MS Word document. So, any suggestions would be most gratefully accepted. Thanks for reading, my friend. Keep well and safe! :)) Sandra xx

For some reason best known to itself Fanstot increases the font size by .5 when italics are selected. This makes the italics seem oversized when compared with the normal font. What I do is to reduce the font size by 1 in the Fanstory editor (because I haven't found out how to do it by .5) In trhe editor it does look small but when saved it seems to me to be nearer the correct size. Obviously you won't have that problem when submitting to a publisher in MS Word.

Thanks Jim, I'll go and try that. :))

You could also try Tom!

I've done what you suggested and changed the font size for the italics. Would you mind casting your eye over it again and see what you think?

The introductory 'end of last time' is in an entirely different font. I don't know whether that is intentional but if you put that into Times New Roman and do the business with the italics it should come out the same. The other italics later on look much better now.

Sorted! Thank you so very much, Jim, you've been brilliant! xxx

I Just tried to nominate you, but I already have for this month. I do so appreciate the time you've taken on this. Thanks, my friend. xxx

I can't wait to learn what Herbie and Gizmo are discussing. I hope they have come up with a really good plan to help the aquapeople. Thank you for sharing this story with us. It's wonderful.

Aw, thank you, Barbara, what a lovely review. And a big hug, (virtual these days) for the lovely six stars. I'm delighted you are enjoying this adventure. I'm hoping Eric will as well. Are you still teaching, or are you having to teach from home now? All schools are closed here. Take care, my friend and keep well. :) Sandra xxx

I am teaching from home. It's very difficult because my students live in poverty and don't have access to technology.

Yes, that must be hard. It's going to be a long road before this is over. :(

I must confess. You left me wondering also what the pair could be up to; such a delightful cliff hanger. This wonderfully engaging narrative was well crafted and thoughtful. Thank you for a glorious adventure. Have you ever thought of perhaps marketing this series to CBS or another network as a prequel or sequel to "Quantum Leap?" It's a series that I would watch. It might also do well on the Disney Channel or Nickelodeon or even as a Saturday morning or afternoon or Sunday evening series. We certainly could use such enjoyable family content at those times. In any event well done!

What an amazing review, Brenda, thank you so very much! I would be in my element if I could market it, but I have no idea how to go about it. But you have really made my day, heck, my life! Thank you also for the 6 stars, that just topped off your wonderful review. Thank you! :)) Sandra xxx
