Your poem of advice is welcome during this crisis. Cool heads should prevail and follow the proper steps to contain the virus. It really isn't that hard for some of us who live alone, to just stay put. The challenge is for the families and all active members, to follow the rules.

I give five stars for content, and the intent of giving us good advice, and a possibility of hope for our future. The Author's notes and the title and line above the title are well done. Although it doesn't rhyme, I like the first stanza the best. It is precise and sets up the tone of the poem nicely. The other stanzas have an uneven flow, as well as too many of the same words that rhyme used over again. You used "dope" and "soap" and "price" twice in the same poem. The emphasis on positivity and good advice is great. I suggest more time spent on the poetics of this piece would help. The choice of artwork by cleo85 is a fantastic one. Great theme and content.

Jesse, I appreciate every aspect of your comment, As I just had a close friend diagnosed in a frenzy I pushed this put. Now that I have some time to pause I will go back and fine-tune but this message is a real threat is also.

Your poem is poignant and now is the time for you guys to do something before it reaches crisis point like it has in Europe! We have 138 cases here now and 8 people critically ill in just under a million people. It seems a small number but it is doubling every day and they reckon that 80% will be affected in the end. I am very frightened and haven't left my house since it all began, except to get food and I have ordered a full facial gas mask which I shall wear when I shop, plus gloves. Prepare yourselves, the worst is coming, love Dolly x

Dolly, I send powerful prayers of containment and health and safety out to you today! Around here my medical professionals are telling it is not if it is when it hits our area and we are relatively remote in county population of 101,000 souls.
