The poor kid is so overwhelmed by all the noises. I bet it would be too much to handle all of them coming at him at once. I imagine they would have a lot of questions, seeing he's a stranger and all. Maybe Herbie can figure out a way to slow the pace down. Hopefully, before poor Eric goes nuts. It's a very well-written, interesting chapter, I look forward to reading more. When I was reading this, I was thinking about how neat it would be to get inside my furry baby's head. See what they have to say, think what their personality is like. Lady I'm sure is sarcastic. I ask her to move and she does a quarter of an inch.

Communication is the key to everything, whether one is dealing with people from other cultures or other planets the problem is the same and this is something I am confident Eric and Herbie will find a way of overcoming.

Did you get the idea of the creatures emerging from the water from a piece of reversed film. It certainly feels like it and I, like Eric, have always wanted to do that, it beats the ladder in the swimming pools.

No, I wanted them to come out of the water in a way that gives Eric a clue they are more than just strange looking creatures. I'm glad you thought it was realistic. I'd like to do that too! LOL.

Thank you so much for the six stars, Jim, it means a lot coming from you. Yes, Eric must communicate with them as they need to learn from him as much as he does from them. Thanks, my friend, for your great review. :)) Sandra xx

Excellent
Not yet exceptional. When the exceptional rating is reached this is highlighted

Every gift comes with it's own risk. And the gift of mental communication from the Atlanteans to Eric seems to carry a risk as well. This was a wonderful chapter. I was caught from the beginning. The idea of them speaking in a manner similar to dolphins was genius! Great work!

You already know I am totally enjoying this story. I am sure Eric is struggling with so much stimulation in his brain. I know I would. You are doing a great job describing this. Your creativity is wonderful.
