Very good. I do not know what the answer is. You cannot live and eat for free. Should we pay people to live? Not all can work but you need money coming in. The homeless must have worked at some time in their.life.

We need to the stupidity of declaring everything a war on drugs, a war on poverty, a war on social injustice. Wars are never won! EVER! We need to enact programs of hope and teach responsibility and then get our politicians to demonstrate what REPSONDSIBLE means.

I like this poem very much. It speaks of reality the exists in inner cities and improvised communities. Unfortunately, these affected by these conditions have made a choice for themselves and I wonder how any handout will help. Thank you for sharing.

This is a superbly done poem for the picture challenge! I feel the gravity of the night street life and how the narrator describes the world and asks for "more choices" and not just more handouts to fix the problems.
