Hello Sally, a lovely, Love Nonet, the first of its kind I've ever read. LOL! Written true to form with good enjambment throughout. Congratulations on your 44th Wedding Anniversary, today the 19th, and Merry Christmas and good wishes for the New Year 2020 to you and yours. Warm regards Dorothy xx

Thank you very much for the excellent review and kind compliments. The Nonet is relatively easy and looks so lovely when it's centered. I challenge myself and others to write a Nonet every month on one of the month days. It's this fun things that I do and somewhat instructional. It is my all time favorite poetry form. I do hope you'll try it! Sending you my best today as always,
Sally xo

Hi Sally. Congratulations on your 44th anniversary to you and Jackson. When we meet the right one, we know it. I feel these types of relationships are "meant to be." A very nice nonet and illustration. Marilyn

What a lovely wedding tribute. I like your smile, the sunrise, and your arms, the shore. Those are great images. Was the ocean imagery tied to you move to Florida? That makes it even more appropriate. You are the nonet queen for sure.

Thank you so much, dear Debbie. The Nonet is really quite simple and feel free to reign with me, dearest Debbie. I do it every month on the ninth days to challenge myself. Prose comes more naturally for me than poetry, so I've stayed with a few forms. I hope to master them before I move to other more difficult forms. The Nonet and Duotrain are my favorite poetry forms.
Sending you my best today as always,
Sally xo

I see that Yvette usually writes one with you, and everytime I tell myself to write one. Poetry comes hard for me, too. I'll surprise you some day. I'm looking up a duotrain. That sounds short enough for me.

Sally,
A very moving tribute to your spouse. Not quite sure my December 1973 bride would have written the exact same words, but I greatly appreciate your sentiment.
A great image and clip accompanies your verse.
Thanks for those memories of 40+ years (-:

Thank you, dear Mark. True love in Nonet form with a nautical twist, that's me. I'm glad you could relate. Happy 46th to you and Mrs. Mark, too. Sending you my best today as always,

I love this Nonet. It really resonates with me. I love the line that says your arms - the shore. I think I have heard every description of love and the feeling of emotional safety, but I've never heard of arms as the shore, and I absolutely love that idea. Your poem follows the rules exactly and is a beautiful piece of work. The image you chose is perfect. Happy anniversary!

Thank you so much, dear Therese. I appreciate your kind review and compliments. My husband and I were engaged on the beach and we just went back there for our anniversary. His arms are truly my shore!
