You've been in a serious writing deficit? Good grief woman, have you no pity on the rest of us? This was enchanting as always and endearing. I love Constantine. He sounds like me in the kitchen. I look forward to the continuing chapters. Sending you my best today as always,

Yeah, I've been trying to 'find my mojo' ... not the muses, they seem to be doing okay on poems and really short things with no 'ties', but my drive on my fantasies seemed to take a hiatus last month... been doing lots of non-writing, non-school activities to hopefully entice it back (or at least let it know I'm not happy without making things up outside of reality - lol!!)... Thanx for your review on this one, Lady Sal -- and I think you in the kitchen would be a real hoot!! ;) Take care! ;) Yvette

Yes, ?What The Blind Girl Cooked? is on tonight, live from my kitchen. :]

YAY!!!!!! It worked! I must have a gripe more often! LOL. I loved it that dear Sir Archie has come round. It took a little convincing, and a few nudges from Constantine, but he got it in the end. Everything is going nicely now that they all believe Nicholas is the TRUE groundsman. Well done, my friend! NEXT!! lol. :)) Sandra xxx

I've missed these - as in - I've been looking forward to more chapters. I haven't missed reading any. I didn't find any glitches but thoroughly enjoyed renewing my acquaintance with these characters.

I really loved this - could not help chuckling throughout and can't wait for more - you paint your characters so clearly it is not difficult to visualise them with their differentiating characteristics - (sorry for the repetition but could not think of a different word). I do really love this kind of fantasy. I can see the story as if on film. Perhaps you will turn this into a script sometime.

Wow!! ;) :) Thanx so much for your wonderful review and those lovely stars on this one -- so glad my crazy fantasy fun is making you smile!! ;) :) Be sure to catch up on the other happenings to join the fun -- it's a young person novel, but it's enjoyable for everyone (hopefully!)... Take care and have a wonderful day!! ;) :) Yvette

I could not find anything to improve in this chapter. I guess even an armadillo has to affect an air of macho bravado to justify being pink and a shorty. Constantine brings Sir Archie back to reality, of course. I like this descriptive line: His snort that followed sounded less melodic, like the lower note of a saxophone. The last line definitely leads the reader on to wanting to read more. Good job.

The adventure continues, Archie and Constantine go on. One is the master of the garden; the other one is the keeper of the secrets of the shade. Thank you for sharing and good luck with your next chapter.

I enjoyed this chapter in the adventures of Nicholas, the young groundskeeper. Your character of Sir Archibald was an appealing surprise as a pink armadillo! Cheers- Joan

Hi Yvette. I'm a little surprised by a pink Armadillo. I lived in Tx for 3 years and saw lots of them but not a pink one. I do remember where I am. If a garden gnome is the boss, there is nothing unusual about a pink Armadillo. I liked this line a LOT! " "Still in my squatting position, I offered my hand in greeting." For some reason, that cracked me up. :) Z
