I liked its freshness and very contemporary feel, but didn't really like how it emphasised how horrible baseball fans can be. Therefore proving that your choice of language and words was very effective.

Great job with this Tyburn poem. Very good selection of fun words. It makes me feel that I am in the baseball field. Perfect picture for your writing piece. Best of luck!

This poem provided a great image of the action of a baseball game. I'm not really into sports that much myself, but I did enjoy your poem. Best of luck in the contest!

Dear Mystery Poet,
I love the picture. Anything about baseball brings me running :) When I think of the name of this poetry form I think of Star Trek and Captain James Tyberius Kirk. Not sure if I spelled that right?
So I'm new to this ooetry form, and enjoyed learning about it from your excellent example. Best wishes to you in the contest.

Thank you very much, Joy, for your kind review and comments for my poem. I'm so excited that pitchers/catchers report to spring training camp in about a month. Play ball!

This verse technically fulfills the requirements. I don't think I could come up with enough rhyming words and actions to make this work, so I'm impressed with the manipulation of words, images, and actions. I'm not a baseball fan, but I know enough of them to recognize them in this poem!

What a fun Tyburn poem that also is quite the tongue twister! I think you've captured well the spirit of baseball and the excitement of seeing a rookie play well.

HELLO POET: i like your posting here in that I am a sports fan. I do...and I've always liked sports. When I was a kid I was on a little-league base ball team. I was so excited about that. Your posting here takes me back down memory lane. Thank you for sharing. This is good, and so are you. God bless you and yours. Cordially: rhonnie69.

Thanks for your kind review and comments for the poem, rhonni. I come from big sports-loving family and baseball has always been my favorite. Pitchers and catchers report to spring training in about month!
Thamk you.

Best of luck to you in contest. This is a new form to me, but you seem to have it right. It is a fun form I can see. Thank you for putting the form out for us, I want to try it myself.

this is an excellent example of Tyburn poetry. it's humorous, it rhymes perfectly, the illustration it has to go along with it is adorable, and this is a great poem to read to start the day
