Hello, again Nassus, This one made me laugh. It was so remnant of my life! I can think of so many times that there were thoughts of 'love' in my life. Little did I know that the older I got the more I would understand that I didn't know yet what real love was until I got older. Then you walk away and it's like... yeah... whatever. LOL

This is great - lukewarm love and a goodbye kiss forgotten. Breakups are so often portrayed as tragic that I really like this portrayal of a love that just wasn't. Wonderful.

Yes there is a Bible message about lukewarm. It's a temperature God hates for sure. I do too. There's no passion in lukewarmth.. you captured this so well in a short space and with few words...excellent writing

It is so sad. Very well written. Great picture as well. I am just glad Geoff and I found each other or rather God brought us together. I think you've read Geoff's (sankey) Little Dog That Wouldn't Let Go biography about how we met and have been married now for more than 31 years.

I like this poem. I know that when it comes to love and your significant other that it is hard to embrace the inevitable .

A very well-written 5-7-5 poem to look at relationships that sometimes fail before they really start because the two people that first attracted each other seem not to be adaptable to each other's differences

Amazing, how you manage to tell the whole story so poignantly with three lines of 5-7-5 Poetry. Besides, you chose just the right artwork that complements your poem. This is excellent and tells of talent.

I have no experience with 5-7-5 poetry, but I would say that this is a great example of the genre. you have expressed so much in so very few words and painted a full picture of romance at its sad end --very enjoyable
