A fantastic chapter indeed, Sandra. I liked the way you started it with the committee or The Powers That Be having their discussion of Veronica's success and of giving her the treat of seeing Jacob and Francis being reunited. It was delightful to have her transported into the future of the past she had visited. Daveth was indeed surprise to see her and then so was Joe. I loved the way you discussed their success over the ten years. Very, very well done, I can hardly wait to see what happens in the next chapter, when Jacob and Francis meet. I do hope that nothing befalls Mildred for a few chapters. Thanks so much for sharing my friend, big hugs and smiles.

Aw, thank you so very much, Alie. Yours is a fantastic review, I've a big smile on my face. I'm so pleased you enjoyed this part. Only three more parts to go, and then I'll be sorting the plot out for the third book in this trilogy. The meeting of Jacob and Francis, happens in the next part. Big hugs my friend. Sandra xxxx

Another part of the book. Would not it be great if we could back up several years and use them to change the future? LOL. You do well with these characters. You don't need a ghost writer you are one. LOL.

LOL, Ben, you are so funny! A ghost writer... I must remember that one! Thank you so much my dear friend for this lovely review. I always love to read them. If I could go back, there are a few things I would change, and a few things I'd like to do again! Are we ever satisfied? LOL, that's what makes us human. Thanks again, my friend. Big hugs. Hi Sandra,
I'm out of sixes and sorry. This is a six star chapter in your six star book. I enjoyed getting a glimpse at the powers that be. It's so lovely to have Francis about to meet his father. This is an all around feel-good chapter. I couldn't resist reading the latest chapter. Now I have to go back and catch up. I didn't want to spoil the story, but it didn't.
- "I turned my attention back this young man" - back to this young man?
Looking forward to your next chapter.

'This has been a very successful assignment. - need closing speech marks here.
So the PTB have the power to shift Veronica wherever they see fit. Interesting as it opens up things a lot for more potential adventures. And they know so more about Mildred too... hmm. I wonder how this sits with the 'rules' for time travel. I always loved Quantum Leap's explanation of only in their lifetime.
allowing us the opportunity to reward her for the services she has accomplished' - need end punctuation before the closing speech marks.
you found out you was expecting - probably should drop the 'g' here.
on 'is face when he finds out yer 'ere.'- maybe drop the 'h' from he here.
He be goin' t' meet 'is real dad today - and here as well.
let's be getting' 'ome - drop the 'g'.
Francis' was no longer the little babe - no apostrophe needed here.
Good chapter here and it will be nice to have those loose ends tied a bit.

What can I say but tell you how grateful I am for your reviews, Gareth. I think my brain must switch off half way through my editing. Thank you! I'm glad you enjoyed this chapter, I think my trilogy might be extended if the third book goes well. Do you think you can hang around for a few years to pick up my missing bits? lol. Big hugs, my friend. :)) Sandra xxx

Sandra. How could you stop there? That wasn't very nice of you. We wanted to see Jacob too! This was a great chapter. It is good to see it has all worked out so well. Did I tell you we had a pair of albino kids in my home town. I was very young and I barely remember them and I don't know what happened to them either. I just remember I did see them once. They may have been in the orphanage when we took Christmas presents to the orphans.
It was a good decision to take us back again to see how things played out in the future. Well done dear. Nancy

Sorry about that, Nancy ... actually, no I'm not! LOL. You'll get to meet Jacob next time. :)) No, you never mentioned that. I've never met an albino, but heard about them and did some research for this book. Even today, people are wary of the red eyes. Goodness knows how they managed in the past. I could very well imagine that you met those children in an orphanage, if the parents were frightened about the red eyes. You never know, do you. Thank you so much for the lovely review, my friend, and for the lovely 6 stars! Big hugs, Sandra xxxx

I barely remember it as I was really young as well. They were older children. I didn't see any red eyes but the hair and skin tone
was strange I remember. I think Mother told me not to stare.

Having come in in the middle, it took me a while to realize what was happening, but it still held my interest. I'd like to take a look at the whole thing, but for now, good work! Your place and character descriptions are good, and allowed for mentally filling in the gaps, yes, still some gaps, but they'll be bridged as it progresses, I'm sure.

Thank you so much for taking the time to read this part of my story, that was so kind of you. I'm almost at the end now, three more parts to go. You might have guessed Veronica is a time traveller and is sent to the past to correct problems that could effect the future. Francis is an albino, and Jacob is his father. This will be the first time they will have met each other. This is the second book in the trilogy, the first was published last November. I'm late with this one, it was supposed to have been published by Easter! :( Thank you again for the lovely review. :)) Sandra xx

There are three short scenes in this installment of "This Time - That Time 2". The first scene, a recap and foretelling, is that of "The Powers That Be" discussing Veronica's previous successful time travel adventure and hoping her next travel event to Bristol will prove as successful. The next scene, with no transition, is of Veronica, her children and the children's nanny, Mildred, walking in a park. The last scene, again no transition, finds Veronica in Bristol. As she appears, wondering where she is and when, she is addressed by Daveth. Passers-by gape at Daveth, because he seems to be talking to himself. He will take her to his family. The dialog is excellent. The author's vision is straight forward with no question of what she wants the reader to see and feel. There is a slight cliffhanger in the last scene when Jacob was to arrive. Well done.

What a a lovely review, thank you so much, Henry, I really appreciate your comments. It's nice to know you can understand (to a point) what is happening to Veronica in that she never knows when she will be sent to the past again. I'm so pleased you liked it. :) Sandra xx
