Lovely sentiment, our families make us who we are, They feed, nurture, encourage, guide.
It is a long piece, It commenced and was inclusive of your title, and expanded beyond your mother, Maybe consider 'Family', 'Ode to life'.

I admire you attempted the 'NaPoWriMo' poem I personally have borked at the criteria.
