Very interesting that Jacob went to the leper colony. Here's hoping that he DID return after those ten years.

I've been warned off a couple of times, lol! Our Mildred is really popular, I can't believe how much the readers have taken to her. Yes, she is the backbone of the family, you're right there. Thank you, Yvonne, your review is amazing, and I do appreciate your support. (So does Mildred!) With Jacob, we do know he lived to a good age considering the year and the place he went to. Hi Sandra. This is a wonderful chapter with such surprising information about Jacob. But where does that leave Francis then? Things are getting complicated.
I sighed deeply and went back to finish the polishing. = I suggest to drop 'deeply' Not needed and you don't want a 'ly' word when not needed
It was to be another hour and a half before we able to sit down and relax. = ... before we were able to sit down and relax.
