Well, you warned me it wasn't what I thought. I never dreamed of someone possessing little Michael's body!
That has to be more terrifying than Veronica's travels. Hopefully, they can convince Joe that he can handle things if he returns to his own time.
This is a great chapter. 8-)

LOL! I'm glad you liked it, Yvonne, I think most parents would go ballistic in Veronica and James' position. But, they have to go careful in case they upset Michael. Thank you so much, my friend, for reading this and the lovely review. Big hugs! :) Sandra xxx

Oh! A creepy chapter to read.
Her son, Michael, has a dead person talking through him.
No wonder she's upset.
Spirits have entered her child. Or maybe she believes her son is a reincarnation?
A well-written chapter, Sandra.

I wonder what they are going to teach Joe to help him on his return to his own time.
I'm waiting for the next chapter to this enchanting tale. I've had a good look and I can't find any errors...

I'm sure if Veronica can't think of something, Mildred will! Oh Lordy, Mel, you should already know that! LOL! Thank you so much, my friend, for your lovely review! Big hugs. :) Sandra xx

It's alright Sandra, I was wondering what, not who. I know Mildred is resourceful and sometimes a little outspoken. LOL I hope everything is OK with you, over the channel. mel xxx

Well, who would have guessed the missing Joe had taken over Veronica's son. What a dilemma! Having said that, I reckon aliens took over my son for a few years when he was in his teens, so maybe it's similar.
I can't wait to read on and find out how this wonderful trio get Michael back, and Joe can return to the past - fingers crossed!

top floor to tuck (up not needed here) both the children in their respective bedrooms.
and I shouldn't be taking it out on her
(and I shouldn't have taken it out on her)
I hope I am correct with the changes in this. The different characters and their dialect is a bit confusing. Great story and well written.

Thank you so much, Drew, for this very helpful review. I shall go and sort those out. Mildred does have a fascinating dialect, I've stolen it from a dear Cornish friend of mine, they do come in handy sometimes, lol. Big hugs, my friend. :) Sandra. xx

This is in no way good. I am really worried about little Michael. Maybe he'll be all right. He was too and your story HAS TO have a happy ending. I'm sure it will be a rocky road to get there.

Don't worry, Barbara, Veronica won't let anything bad happen to her son. it will be a challenge for her but with Mildred and James behind her 100%, they are bound to come up with a way to entice Joe out. :) Thank you so very much for your really encouraging review, my friend, I really appreciate your support. Big hugs, dear friend. :) Sandra xx

Like your formatting.
Story interesting throughout its telling.
Ending lends towards several possible follow-up scenarios.

Nice work, Sandra! I really need to go back and read the parts I've missed, but I enjoyed this part. I found a few things for you.
"But he's just a little boy! --Just need closing speech marks.
knocking it back in one. --in one gulp?
Whatever's going on won't last forever," --Need opening speech marks.
Well done and looking forward to the next part,
Russell

If you haven't read part 9 it is still paying. - BLANTANT SELF-PROMOTION - YOU SHOULD BE ASHAMED OF YOURSELF....
LOL
James and I looked at each other, our jaws dropped open - maybe invert this, jaws dropped then look at each other. I think it works sequentially better this way...
It was as though a jigsaw had been swirling around the room and was suddenly coming together in front of our very eyes. - very apt description.
Ah, yes one of the old time travel paradoxes... although by now he's already experienced quite a few things anyway...
