Hi Gypsy; thank you for sharing this haiku. Your presentation and the words all work well together. You made it easy for me to understand this satori by emphasizing the 'sol.'
I'm maybe a step closer to understanding the concept,

Hola Guapa, como estas? I loved this haiku and your satori line is marvelous with such a pun. In isolation the 'sol' being the sun in Spanish of course.Wonderfully thought out. The sun as you know is punishing here in Spain at this time of the year. Great haiku. Un abrazo de tu amiga Ulla:)))

I like your pun at the end. It reminds me of summer days here in Washington. The heat might not be too bad for some people but for locals like me it's unbearable. I spend most of my days inside where it's cool. Then it gets really hot at night. Summer heat is annoying...

Hi, Gypsy,
The summer (July) sun is the challenge. My nemesis. Actually, it's more of the humidity than the sun itself. I'll have to check it out. I love the way you put 'sol' in italics :P

Hahaha...
Sol, as in the Latin name for the "Sun", right, MariVal?
Damn I'm good, ain't I?
But hey, I gotta agree with ya here. It's hotter than a snake's ass in a wagon rut where I live too!
I gave this a six primarily for the satori--the cleverness and wit involved.
But in actuality, the entire haiku, including the presentation, is outstanding.
Nice work!
~Dean ;)
