Mythology and the Brothers Grimm are full of sly rascals who hoodwink
inflexible baddies, now Jay would have Doctrex join the chorus. This chapter moves the story smoothly along. Excellent.

Thank you, Red. I was just curious. Not criticising. But was the rating intended? I'm cool with it if it is.

How that happened, I don't have a clue. Driving my mouse with my foot? The four rating was NOT intended.

Maybe Drex had overbuilt his situation. This is very well written with a smooth flow of words, making for a fascinating read. I am wondering how honest Axtilla is.

We'll be finding out about Axtilla's honesty before too long. Thanks for reading, CHarlie.

I love this story, it's truly compelling.
It's a rare find in that you have maintained a simplicity of scenery for the most part. You have kept a great deal of the story in your gifted realm of mental and verbal exchange between the characters. This allows your reader (Me) to understand the workings of your vision of this story's complex inter relationships, without taxing our minds with exterior distractions. Doctrex has manipulated Glnot in these last two segments to give him the chance he desires to be alone with Axtilla, only you drop in a hint of doubt with the last line.
Great place to leave me hanging.

Hi, Jay
= Interesting turn of events.
= Now, what will Doctrex do with Glnot's confession?
= Is it real OR fake? Hmmmm ... only you and your muse knows for sure.
= Good chapter!
*Cheers & Blessings...*

Boy Doctrex-Pondria has Glnot Reuther flummoxed, introducing words he can't possibly know, and turning them into some sort of mantra to live by. He's managed to convince Glnot Reuther that he and and Axtilla are opposites in intent and can't possibly be attracted to one another. What a complex and clever formation of plot, a grand political design, well done, Jay, blessings, Roy

Thanks, Roy. I don't know ... Turtle tells me I'm portraying Rhuether as more of a younger brother type who looks up to his older brother which won't do because Rhuether is the big poopah. In the final edit I'll see if I need to bring them into more of a balance. Thanks for your review, Roy. blessings, Jay

Turtle has made a great observation, never thought, of that, it is a role reversal

I love the style in which you write in and the fact there are so many levels, the moral dilemma that runs through, makes the characters really come to life. As ever another great read love it
