I am struggling to get up to speed with this. However, this chapter made things clearer. They were Siamese twins. But, are they actually the mythological ones? Not sure.

Thanks for the heads up about the summary. I'm the first to agree the story is complicated. I didn't begin with that in mind, but it grew into it. Hopefully, it will clear up some later.

There were only three chapters when Doctrex crossed back to modern times, becoming Viktor. Axtilla was there as his nurse. He ended up killing himself and transmigrated back to the provinces as Pondria.
