Who can say. The way your aunt loved the house it could be true. I have heard a lot of ghost stories about people loving their home and not welcoming new comers when they moved in. It is always fun to imagine. Good story. :<) Nancy

Thank you, Nancy, I can't decide if the guy is just a goofball or really gets scared staying there all by himself. This house is way out in the country and has no close nieghboers.

I think your aunt and uncle still live in the home. A ghost is a spirit that can't or won't move on and if you believe in Heaven, then you must believe in ghosts. Thank you for sharing.

I love old houses and think I would've had a fit too, if someone did that to one of my relatives houses. This held my interest and I found it to be a good read now about the ghosts I guess it all depends on what you believe. I always heard they haunt the place they die so I'm not sure if your aunt and uncle are there.

Thank you for your input, Javkreese. This guy must really believe in ghosts, I know he was scared silly the first time I met him.

I enjoyed this pleasant story. I do not believe I ghosts, but I could be wrong. Maybe you could check with the Historical Society in your area. They my have an interest.

I enjoyed reading this piece about your Aunt Grace's former home. Whenever I pass my Nan and Granddads old house, I always look at it and I am pleased to say that nothing about it has changed, from the outset that is. I would be mortified if someone knocked it down and built something new, all those childhood memories diminished in a single blow. I thought this was a well written piece, I thought that your writing flowed well and I couldn't find any faults. Thanks for sharing...Jacob
