This was a heavy, well written chapter, my friend. The visions he saw were interesting and frightening. It held my attention well. I look forward to the next chapter. This is a bit scary, but it was excellent.
Always with respect.

Many thank, Elgie. I'm glad you're getting into this. I don't think you read much of The Trining, so it's understandable you may feel a little disconnected with it's larger vision. Please come back, my good friend.

This is yet another interesting addition to the story that the author has created with this piece of work. The story continues to hold my interest and it will be interesting to see what happens next.

Hi, Jay...
_ Whoohoo! My Doctrex is back!
_ I can see why he didn't want to close his eyes, whether he was seeing things or not---can't be good when one hurt so badly.
_ Great chapter encapsulating his dread.
Cheers & Blessings
Keep Smilin'... Jax (*:*)

Many thanks, Jax. I hope I can carry over the following my other stories gathered to this. I appreciate your rating and kindness, Jax. I tried to congratulate you for your second place showing in the book of the month, but it's not on your profile. So, congrats to you.

Thanks. (*<*)
I don't think 2nd or 3rd place shows on the profile---just 1st place.
It would be nice if the runners up got an honorable mention or something at the bottom of their work/profile.
But, I'm pleased to have been in great company. (*<*)

I would provide the general's body and myself the proof of it.
( as proof? )
Thus unmindful, and mentally free-floating, I found (is the first comma necessary?)
Well written as always, Jay. I'm not sure about the above--I've been editing my children's book all day, and my brain is tired. I'm reading, hoping I wind down.
I always look forward to your work, and this does not dissapoint. Have a good night, my friend~Debbie

I'm just happy to see you're reading this, Debbie. I'll check on the suggestions. I tend to agree with you on the comma. Thanks for pointing it out.

A very internal episode, Doctrex appeared to die in inexorable pain, and was out, dead, then back in the body, hallucinating... Great descriptive episode Jay, hallucinations must be like that, then some sort of release, a most interesting part of the story, the imagination must be working, running in its own direction, great episode, my friend. Blessings, Roy.

Thanks for reading, Roy. I'm a little uneasy about beginning the new chapters since they are so different from the shorter works I've gained a following from. Time will tell. Thank you for your loyalty and your kind rating.

You're a great writer, you can't fail, too introspective,
