There's no doubt in my mind that things are completely different now to how they used to be, things now are much more "me" based than ever before, even a drover's dog knows that when "me" becomes more important than you or even we, society's on the skids. Well written piece, you make some good points, a good entry in this contest, clever using the words of the song, I couldn't find any spags, well done, blessings, Roy.

Many thanks for your thoughts. These questions are very prevalent in society today. It can lead to wavering and abandonment all together from religion.
Something needs to redress the balance.
Many thanks. Much appreciated

How much worse does it need to get? "Is It The End?" This was a good attempt at having a beef and trying to question the balance which seems not to exist. Do I have the answers? Hell no. Well done.

WOW! This is incredibly clever - I just happen to love Louis Armstrong and that tune, too. (*smile*) You've used it admirably. I'll bet Sachmo wouldn't see this comin'.
Before I offer this suggestion, I confess - punctuation is NOT my strong suit. However, I do think a comma is needed after "stronger" here -
1) "...before it becomes stronger(,) but..."
2) Likewise after "there is one(,) but", and any place similar to these two examples
3) "...and I worry if today's world (is) a..."
4) since you differentiate everywhere else, you don't want the quotation marks here - "I would crawl right over you."
5) A comma is needed after "Sincerely(,) with Reverence,"
I enjoyed this immensely! Best of luck in the contest.

Nice take on the prompt, as well as Louis Armstrong's classic tune, "What a Wonderful World", Anonymous.
I've often wondered many of the same things you expressed in this contest entry. Are the times we are now living a punishment of sorts for our sins and transgressions, our failure to care and tend to our earth and it's people in the proper manner?
Things to ponder...
Good luck to you in the contest. ~Dean

Your letter to God has been written with lot of frankness and it expresses deep concern about degeneration of His creation. You have adopted a novel style of writing this letter with questions put in quotation mark which are from 'What a Wonderful World'. Best of luck for the contest.

This is a wonderful thought provoking entry for this Dear God competition, Your take on the old Louis Armstrong No1 is absolutely spot on, I once heard an Irishman singing a song with this title, the opening two lines were
I go to church on a Sunday
The vows that I make
I break them on Monday.
Says it all doesn't it, good luck in the contest my friend.
