This is just beautiful. I love this bible story and I love the depth and the way you have made me see this bible story in a new light. Your poem flows beautifully with great meter, and strong message, and I liked the use of repitition.

Wow, thank you so much for the six stars, JavaJunkie! I love this story too. It such a short story, and I've always wondered what happened to that wonderful lady when she left the treasury. Dear Debi - your faith in this work is well penned and shares that deeper realization of all we go through in life can either make us stronger or weaker, the choice is up to us...those with faith to stay strong often come out the other end wiser...
