Lots of choices,
and joys could be had.
But this year just fish,
Made the majority glad.
Next year plan your own celebration guys. No matter what it is it will be better because you want it.

Fish for Christmas, I don't I ever heard of that, maybe ham but not fish. I think I'd think about doing something myself next year too. God loves you and so do we.

This is a good free verse. I love your concession here to those who have no great interest in getting caught up in the celebration. Ageing narrows a couples needs. Fish may well be what you may be happy with.
We were happy to sign off on an egg. Our only problem was if we would boil or scramble it.
Each of your stanzas has a good idea developed and they all work together to make a entertaining Christmas poem

Thanks very much for a great review. I just added the poem to a book of poems. I had put it up for a competition its own then added it to the book with all my other poems I have written some are songs as you know. And No we hate certain types of fish. We don't mind Tuna Mornay or Crumbed fish fillets but apart from that forget it hehe.

Allergic to all parts of a fish apart from the fingers!

Yeah haven't had fish fingers for a while...hehe I didn't know fish had fingers hehe kidding. Louise doesn't even like then hehe she is happy for us to have our Crumbed fish fillets and Oven baked chips about once a week. Not necessarily on a Friday hehe.

That was the other thing if it was still relevant that their own daughter was still allergic to fish it was also rude they did not provide something else for her but I was told by Mum in law that she is not allergic to fish anymore.

I think so. It will add to your book rating i think. I was going to change my book to individual stories. Tom didn't want me to because it would have upset the author ratings. hahaha. I would have been number two, close to number one.

It is a sad thing when a family cannot celebrate Christmas. This is very well written with a smooth flow of words, making for a very good read.
