A very good story and one I can identify with. Jim and I loved rural life and bought a ranch to retire on which I still occupy even though it does not have an animal population since he passed away. I did enjoy your story. Nancy

Thank you Nancy. Evan and I did eventually build a house there and enjoyed going there for vacations. We now live on nineteen acres but it much nearer the city that that place was. I'm glad you enjoyed the story.
