Feeling frisky, I see....Yes, we all love a good moan, not just the women, we like a good growl, too, but that's another poem, I'm sure... nice use of double entendre and good rhythm in the repeated lines...Hope things look up soon:)

Ex-sailor that I am, I often find something naughty in the most innocent of writings, but something happened here. I saw the old wooden doors with vines holding them shut and thought, "this poem is about a barn. Probably one full of old cars or motorcycles. The doors will moan when opened. Yeah, that's it." What happened--did a meteor hit my head or has old age truly set in? Well, now I know it's just good and naughty. Of course a lady deserves a bit of special attention to keep those hinges from rusting!

With a poem titled " moan" I would expect nothing less. As a trumpet player, one thing we had to learn is called " triple tongue", a rapid fire three note near trill by some pretty quick serpent flick staccato tongue. Let's just say my wife does not like soft jazz. How's that for Tmi? I feel a note in your trombone- excellent line.
