Hi Debbie, yes I was a young mom and grandma. Mom by 20 and grandma by 47.
I don't know what tattooing is like in the UK, but here in MN they have to do a year of apprenticeship before they can do tattoos on their own. And in her poem where I said she knew from the start what she wanted to do. She was writing on her arms and legs already at five years old with pens or markers. I would tell her no, but she said she was going to be a tattoo artist someday so she wasn't worried when grandma said she was going to get blood poisoning. What a kid. But it took a while for her to get her foot in the door at a reputable place. And then she had to do receptionist for a long time. And she is not getting paid while doing this so she has to keep her other job for at night.

And yes, Kenzie is the one who I use some of her art sometimes. She even gives me access to her portfolio, but much of it is a little dark for me. But some of it is great to use here. Thanks so much for asking.
