Thank you so much, Gretchen, for your generous review and kind words. Karen is always so kind and takes time to read whatever I write, so I couldn't not enter her contest. LOL I've been gone for over a month, and although I did get to read a little while I was gone, I missed a lot. I'm happy to be back and anxious to read your stories with regularity again. Hey, John, thank you so much for taking time out to read my feeble effort at poetry. I just couldn't not enter her contest. I never expected many to read it, and could care less about the voting. I just hope it brings a smile to Karen's face that I cared enough to try. Much appreciated!

Karen is a sharp and witty gal, and gets a little risky at times. LOL. Therefore, I had to step out on a limb with that ending word. Thank you so much, Debi, for your generous review and kind words. It's been a long five weeks of constant travel, and I can't hardly wait to get back to reading and reviewing regularly. I wrote this poem in about 15 minutes, and I'm sure it sounds like it. It was for the contest, just to let Karen know I cared enough to try. Much appreciate!

I am not begging for a review, but I write prose so rarely and I have one that is about to expire that is worth $1.08 right now. It is called Anniversary of a Nightmare. I think you would enjoy it. But for sure not asking for a review, as I have plenty, but I know you weren't here to get the notification.
