I love your man in this rhyming poem. Someone might say he's fixated on her cooking. I think that there are worse things to be fixated on. L O L I love the way you keep coming to the last line of each stanza with an adaptation built on these concluding words: "The way she cooks." From the beginning to the very end there was a rhythmic flow that captured my attention and peaked my interest. Thanks.

This is precious, my friend. I won my husband with a little bit of both, says he. He still loves me and loves my cooking. We cook and bake together now. A delightful poem and end to my reviewing day.

I agree with this message and would add...A handsome man is nice to find but its not what makes my ground shake. Give me a man who can master the grill and give me a perfect rib eye steak. Nicely written and fun. Thanks for sharing.

My cousin told he her husband told her once he was in love with someone else but he said I'm going to stay with you because you are a really good cook. I think I might have kicked him out at that point. You could have entered this one in the contest Poem about a woman.

I was reading a review of a celebrated woman author and a famous man said about her that he liked the way she cooks. I cannot remember their names, but that was the inspiration for this poem. This took place several months ago, and I thought I wrote down their names but I cannot find any reference to them.

Hi Nomi, Lol. This is a poem that my husband can relate to. He's a beef man, so when I invited him to dinner for the very first time, I cooked a prime rib. I think that dinner moved me to the top of his list. Lol, but true.
