-Very nice artwork, Doug.
-I think there is one of the Japanese
forms Gypsy posts for the club that
includes more than one verse, but
I don't remember the name.
-Whatever it is, you did a good job with it.
-A good opening and good commentary
in the second verse revealing that loneliness
has been this person's "companion" for a while.
-Very well done.

I have to agree with you; loneliness is not a bad thing. I do my best thinking when I'm alone, and I like just doing what I please. I love this short writing of yours, too. Nice work.

    I have found that sometimes the short ones do better. I write stories and try to keep them short. Most of the reviewers prefer shorter writing.

Short and sweet. I read recently, "of course I talk to myself, especially when I want expert advice." And being our own best friend is definitely a plus.

Oh, yes! I think I know where you're coming from with this. This kind of loneliness is okay. It's kind of like solitude. Good to enjoy your own company now and again.

    Dorrance Publishing agreed to publish me. This has been a LOT more work than I expected. Still in the middle of it.

Not quite a haiku but a very stirring and profound post nonetheless. It's all really down to loving ourselves so that we don't feel that sense of foreboding and loneliness. We might be alone but we don't have to feel lonely. Well done! Debbie
