The crickets are happy about the storm? I would think they'd huddle down as low as they could and avoid drowning in the impending flood.

Thank you Helen. Maybe I'm wrong about why they chirp during a storm, but they do. Maybe they are protesting. My grandpa always said the were crying for more rain.

This is an excellent poem Beth, the thought that we are in a thunder storm I think is great also, not for some perhaps, but then we don't host tornadoes either, this is beautifully written, well done, blessings Roy

Excellent, yes, storms can be exciting, and can get the adrenalin pumping,
we don't so much get tornados here, but we do get bad cyclones, and though great to see they can be very dangerous, very well written and presented, best wishes for your contest****kahpot
