That's a good one. I had a good laugh at both that image and at your two- line poem's content. As if cats could! Creative near rhyming (sees/selfies). Oh, and dont forget the "Cheeese". Loved it. Good luck in the contest.

Thanks so much, Debbie. I was maybe changing it when you reviewed it, and was doing so for the meter, but wanted to keep it rhyming.

What about the second line (meeting the meter requirement)? :

Yes, that why I hesitated at first, but changed it in the middle of the night and lol, then fell asleep with it still in edit and take a look now. But can you imagine the mess I might have woken up to if my hand swiped the keyboard and saved?

LOL, well, it won't be good. If you can do selfies, then you can get on line and order stuff like cat nip, tender vittles, and any treat you want. Plus, you can book yourself on a trip to South Padre Island and get away from all the cold. It's a great picture and a great poem. Good luck. Terry.

Cats are so smart. I turned froma dog person to a dog and cat person when we got married. The wording here is clever and such good use of two lines.
