Wow. Spot on with the words and complemented so well by the image. Sadly, too true. Best of luck with the contest. Take care and have a wonderful day.

Hi Author,
we say so many things to bolster our own perception whether they are true, or hold an accurate meaning. So yes, a great example.
No, time does not heal all wounds... that's for a higher power and another time.
A very valid statement using your twelve words to their greatest point of impact... well done Author!
All the very best wishes in this contest!
With our thoughts we create...
fake narratives.
Kind regards,
James.

The words are true and the picture tells the story just as clearly - perhaps in case someone has trouble coming to the same conclusion. It wasn't lost on me that it is a child who is pushing the wheelchair - another level of pain. Another generation of hurt. Thank you for sharing.

It seems that time heals is a false declaration, at least for some, I really must congratulate you on that decidedly iconic piece of art, and this creative interpretation, beautifully written, blessings Roy

How very true. Your words bring back so many memories of seeing the effects of how wounds or chronic conditions progressively get worse for people. Sometimes time is actually their enemy forcing them to endure pain longer than necessary.

I completely agree with you. And that wound. in turn, wounds their loved ones. Thanks for this insightful review.

This was a heart breaking poem. Time sometimes dulls the pain but rarely does it heal things. That comes from within. Your picture choice was perfect to illustrate your work. Great job. Gretchen

Amazing photo to capture the attention of the reader. Your twelve word poem says it all is this short succinct verse. Well done and heartfelt.

-Nice image and presentation.
-You have used your 12 words well with a good topic.
-You have a good premise in the opening lines.
-A very good closing line that says a lot in a few words.
-So many people have injuries that are physical and mental,
like having fought in a war, losing a loved one, and more.
-A very good entry; good luck in the contest.

Thanks. I also liked this photo because of the little boy who is pushing his dad. His wounds of seeing his dad like that won't heal with time, either.
Thanks for always being such a great noticer. Very much appreciated.

The choice of visual image to accompany this piece is stark, striking and very powerful. There is a whole world of potential backstory happening there, including the uniform of the veteran, the wheelchair and the little child pushing from behind. Thanks so much for sharing this.

Very well said. Not only physical wounds, but also emotional ones. The scars can be forever, and change who one is, and all one's relationships.
Well done. Best wishes for your entry.
