They are similar but one is more easily toted! All instruments are beautiful to me. I just love them all. I'm sure you play them like a poem, or is that a fiddle? Delightful poem of the black and white keys you love. Sending you a big hug and blessings for the contest.

This is a well written poem written by a musician, as evidenced by your musical terminology describing the sounds of a variety of instruments. I am a pianist who served as a church musician for fifteen years, but never had a room large enough to accommodate a baby grand. The imagery in your poem allows the readers to almost hear the instruments sing. Best wishes in the contest.

Thank you for this lovely review. I played the oboe and glockenspiel in high school along with the piano which was my favorite. There?s not much call for a glockenspiel outside a high school band. (Smile). I have a sweet Story and Clark piano but "baby grand" fit my rhyme. Thanks again and good wishes to you as well.

I loved the little history in the author's note at the end. I'm personally partial to the Piano, but I also like ukuleles and fiddles. I loved the rhyming scheme and flow of the whole piece as well. Good luck in your contest! ~Heather
