Hi Debi, this is a lovely poem for the faith contest. I will have to say that I'm not a believer, but that doesn't mean I can't enjoy poetry written to that effect. I wish you the best of luck. Ulla:)))

Thank you Ulla, and that is partly what I love so much about you. The fact that we may not have the same opinion about this, but we both have so much respect for the other and have a deep friendship in spite of it. Thank you. Your words are so kind and I always have so much admiration for you my dear friend.

Love your words about faith being year round which we often forget. I also like the mention of the various colors and nature of the seasons. Your words show faith in action and warm the heart of the Believer.

This is a very beautiful expression of your faith, you really do write lovely poetry. I know it must be incredible to feel the way you do. I envy you. Thanks for sharing and best of luck in the contest.

You have covered all the seasons very nicely, Debi. The last two lines of your poem are very strong. I think you will do quite well in the contest.

Every season brings a time to love Jesus. When a person grows elderly, you know you need Him even more. When we're younger do we take Him seriously? Not probably until we have children of our own.

I like the way you used the four seasons to speak of your faith in God. You used a good rhyme pattern throughout. Best wishes in the contest. Blessings. Carol

The goal of ever adult alive, should be trying to perfect the gift of discernment. To be able to determine the difference between what you have been taught, what you believe, and what has been proven to be true, is perhaps the greatest gift anyone can possess. Faith is so much more than just a gut feeling. Faith is supported by concrete facts that cannot be denied. Only a fool will accept the idea that a single organism appeared out of nowhere and caused everything that we see, hear, feel, taste and touch is a result of that organism mutating into the physical and natural world in which we exist. Anyone who accepts the idea of evolution is a blind fool who is being misled to possible destruction.

Thank you for sharing this faith contest entry with us. You did an excellent job describing faith through the seasons. Yes, God is always with us. I enjoyed reading and wish you luck with the contest.

This is beautifully written and I like how you've divided your poem into four seasons, it's very original.
The rhyme is also very good.
I hope you do well in the contest. Thanks for sharing.
