Wow! absolutely seamless. I'm smelling a whiff of Margot not being able to get back to her timeline. Ahhh! Anyway, I'm getting ahead of myself, but I can't help it, lol. You be careful with Margot, Sandra! I took a liking to her. I'm still not clear what's going down with Bessie, though... great stuff my friend. I'll be waiting.

Bessie is intriguing most of my readers, so I'd better come up with something special so you'll all see her for what she is. She is a nice lady, so don't worry about that. Thank you, John, for another lovely review, I do enjoy reading yours. Warm hugs, my friend. :) Sandra xx

This the first time I have read your story but having read the background you provide it holds together well.
I wasn't sure at first if Maggie and Bessie were ghosts but finally worked out each role.
Well written and the story draws the reader into reading more.

Warrmly,

Juliette

I'm so sorry for the loss of your friend, Carole. Even when someone gets older and are in bad health, it doesn't make it any easier to lose those special friends and companions that we've had for so long. Thanks for sharing another fine chapter.

Thank you, Ric, I really appreciate your kind words. Carole was a rare lady, funny, loving, wise, and ready to help anyone at a moments notice. I'll miss her a lot.
Thank you also for reading this part, and the golden star!! You've put a big smile on my face. Warm hugs, my friend. Love Sandra xxx

Getting answers opens the perspective and horizons of our thoughts in the eyes of others wisdom and expression; I like this chapter like before; your expression through dialogues is realistic; well said, well done; post more. ALCREATOR LITT DEAR (D R) I do think, perchance, you have constantly been guided by your dearest friend of over 45 years, I am sorry to learn, she at her 81 left you, I pay my tribute to her and I honour your words (maybe some of her wise thoughts poured in this novel).

What a really nice review, and your words on my dear friends death is so appreciated. Yes, she was an amazing lady, funny, wise and so caring. I'll miss her a lot. A lot of her ways is shown in Bessie. Thank you so much. I'm so pleased you are still enjoying my story, I've come to admire your work over the years, and appreciate you and your interest in mine, very much. Thank you for that, and for the sixth star. Warm hugs, my friend.

I'm anxious to see how Margo is going to pull this off. These timelines running along side each other is warping my mind a bit with maybe it will be clearer later. I am enjoying the story. I'm still not sure about how Bessie knows they were supposed to get married and have three children since it is something that hasn't happened.

I read this without additional context, so I am disadvantaged in my review. However, I found this chapter engaging once I had a little sense of what was going on. It contains a lot of dialogue, and initially the archaic black dialect used by Bessie puzzled me; I eventually attributed this to the time travel dynamic and characters from the past.
With regard to Ms. Mitchell's style, she moves through the threads of the story in a lively manner. She uses narrative to move the story ahead (as in the paragraphs about Miles) effectively. The time travel situation creates interesting demands for tense choices, and these are generally well handled.

Thank you so much for reading this part, Frank, I appreciate how difficult it would be just coming in at this stage in the story. I'm pleased that you were able to get into it, and I'm delighted you thought I handled it well. Thank you. Warm hugs, Sandra xx
