I see, in your profile, you are trying to improve your craft. If this an example of your craft, you have accomplished that task. This is a beautifully sad and heartfelt write. Well deserving of the six.

Wow, I am humbled! Thank you for reading, your insight, and the galaxy of stars! I am not really a poet, this was actually a devotional for a very special lady. I was overseas in the US Navy when my Mom wrote and said this beautiful, sensitive young lady had taken her life. I honor her memory and keep her in my heart.
Thank you again for looking at my profile. Don't post a lot, just when I have something worthwhile to say.
    Cheers, irish

This poem is absolutely beautiful. So full of feeling. The rhyme and metre flow wonderfully and make the story so easy to read. It's a lovely tribute to a loved one. X

This is a beautiful devotional for your Dear Friend. The author's words
are heartfelt, detailed, expressed well, define memories and are creative.
I pondered on the love conveyed as I read these words. The poem flows
and connects well. The artwork is awesome! Great Poem!

Well done. The melody held throughout the poem, and it painted the right pictures for me. I can see this being an Irish poem.

Thank you for sharing.

Hi Jeff, thank you for reading, your insight (Did it take one to recognize one?), and all the stars! And, even my muse has a brogue. Had trouble getting this down as intended, tweaked and prodded, finally gave up before I wrecked it, and just posted.
    Cheers! irish

Great choice of picture for this piece. Are galleons are reference to the way the tree canopy moves? Or clouds? You mentioned it twice but I wasn't really sure. This piece is very intimate yet manages to do it artistically, without coming off as crass. Good work.

Hey, thanks for reading, your great comments, and all the stars! The galleons are the tall, majestic clouds sailing across an azure sky.
Took some tweaking to get this work presentable as a devotional.

Hi there, I found myself transported back in time by the vivid green woodland scene. So reminiscent of my childhood where we were surrounded by trees. A great poem with plenty of character and a magnetic read. Thank you for sharing. ~Mel~

Wow! Hi, Mel, thank you for reading, your great comments, and that galaxy of stars! I am humbled. Some people were confused by my calling the tall, majestic clouds galleons, but hey, that's what they remind me of-
    Thanks again, I am encouraged!

There are secret gardens and they hold our tender thoughts; about love and pain... things we are afraid to name, but, mostly precious moments that we want to visit over time... lovely, di

Virtual Six stars ++++++

I wish I had a six for this dear Author.
You brought the calm, you whistled the wind, and you took the aura and imagery to another level f tenderness and vision.
I so enjoyed the read where you quietly took us through thought...and beyond.
My best wishes.
A lovely poem.
Have a great week.

I am humbled, such a great review from a Real Poet, which I am not, just an amateur who has a fantastic Muse who inspires, interacts, and watches over my shoulder.
Thank You for reading, great insight, and the stars!

It really touched my soul as I could identify with this poem. Heart felt love is always surrounded by sweet memories of time and moments shared together, and space left by departed Love remains impossible to fill. Well done, dear IRISHAUTHORME.
