He once whispered to me not to be sad about deceivers, that Rapture is coming. You write so well about Him and the things true Christians must do. Evil ones think no one knows what they think...well, just wait!! Excellent writing here.

The time is drawing near, when those who have accepted Christ will be taken, and the others left. There have always been false prophets, but never more than now. Thanks for sharing your poem that may help opening some eyes.

Excellent faith based poem that speaks to the reader. I like the two line verses, they add strength to your words. "My entry into His family was allowed" is a wonderful line that shows with faith we are all entered into God's family. Excellent poetic form.

Well said! If only they would open their eyes and see the hypocrisy of so-called Christians through the ages. The day of reckoning is near - meanwhile we need to speak the truth to all those righteously disposed.

Thank you June. I am shocked at how much some of today's so called Christians who resemble the Jewish Religious leaders of Jesus' day.

I often am baffled by those who embrace the Christian faith, but their actions and words are not Christ's teachings. This is a powerful poem, well-written in rhyme calling out those who profess a faith that they do not live by.
It reminds me of a cousin who evicted his sister and sold the family home so he could build a bigger church.
I am a believer in the teachings of Christ in the Beatitudes.
Well done.

Thank you Mary. Many use the term Christian to help them in their nefarious schemes to defraud and abuse others who make the mistake of trusting them,

Some profess to live their life with faith, but then their actions tell a different story. A powerful write about being true to ourselves here, much enjoyed, love Dolly x

Very poignant poem for our perilous times. I appreciate your candid reminders that to truly follow Him, one must love others. One of my favorite sayings right now is from Mark Twain: "There isn't time, so brief is life, for bickerings, apologies, heartburnings, and callings to account. There is only time for loving, and but an instant, so to speak, for that." Sending good wishes your way!

I love your wonderful.rhyming throughout the poem. I love where you said, They
claimed to know God but rejected his son. That is so sad. Keep writing your poems.

This is an excellent poem with a good rhythm, flow, and rhyme scheme. You take a faith base and show, based on the Bible, A division of truth and error. Excellent work wonderful poem!

I am not a real fan of religious poetry but this is terrific. You have kept to a rigid rhythm and still conveyed the message without fluff or filler. You do not lecture either although you are being critical. This is definitely worth re reading and most enjoyable
All the Best!
