Ye Gods! It must be some kind of conspiracy Mothers have! My Mother, bless her could see what I was about to do before I even gave it a thought! All seeing, ever ready to admonish me before I barely got started, and then asked me if I had changed my mind? I couldn't refuse her, could I? Lol. I think she had Second, Third and even Fourth Sight, and a host of other talents and 'tools' she could and did use, which I could well do with today. Especially the 'seeing' part. Even First Vision would be better than what I have to suffer today on a bad day. Tripping over a straw even! Most seem to be like the 'pennies' we'd sick on a pavement, then watch as people would spot it and try to pick it up! Beats vaping any day, and the looks of chagrin on some faces, was more than enough to send us into fits of ribald laughter! Ah what a memory this brings back to me! Hope you continue to have keen sight and acumen - an essential for teachers and Moms, I'm sure. Keep seeing and look out for the unexpected. Not always so visible as many think. Ciao for now. Denis.

Oh, yeah, Mom's are wizards in disguise, don't cha know?!! ;) :) And I see you were a mischievous child as well, hmmm? Oh, those were the days when vices weren't even necessary were they?! :) :) Thanx for the review, Denis - so good to 'hear' you smile out there! ;) Yvette

Reading your work is always an extremely interesting experience for me, it's like walking in shifing sands.
If Mom's are the super heros of the tales, I would expect we can hope to escape from our current situation relatively soon. But relatively soon is rather abstract. What are the actual figures? That is the question to answer.

Whoa, you better watch asking REAL questions like that, Lady Kat -- I hear they are not smiled upon (but keep it up because more people need to ask 'em!!)
You, pickint up after them used to be a 'regular thing', but then they grow up and go to school.... then you get used to 'nobody' around except the husband that leaves things, but now with this quarantine thing... lol! :) :) Thanx so much, my friend, for this awesome review and the shiny stars... they'll help make the rain a bit more bearable today (lol!!) - have a wonderful week ahead! ;) Yvette

Yvette, I enjoyed reading this poem glazed with humor and sarcasm about leaving a lot of things for the poor mom to do. Thanks for jumping in there and doing your part. Good idea to write about it and vent in a creative way. Great job mom! Bill

A clever loop here Yvette although I have no idea what this poem is about and I read it three times, nevertheless I enjoyed the upbeat tone, love Dolly x

The loop pattern works here very well and and the rhyme scheme is clearly well-chosen. Best of luck in the contest (mine is in there too) and I look forward to reading more of your work soon.

A very well-written loop poem. The day a woman become a mother she develops her sixth sense to double the capacity and above all she us equipped with magic eyesight, she can see through walls and doors knowing her children are busy with something no good.

A very colourful presentation makes it inviting and helps the reader I think. Your description of the owl is unique, original, and interesting. You reveal the 'magic' behind such things in a way that makes the reader think and acquire to learn more. This one had me reread a few times and I still learn more each time I read it. Something new to appreciate. Good ideas, A

There's probably something meant to be in the black box, bit mine did not load for whatever reason. I use an Ipad Pro. Nevertheless, the loop poem is a fine one and reads fun and smoothly. Mom's do have magic eyes. I'm glad mine are still in tact. I need them. :) ;)
Sending you my best today as always, and best wishes for the loop contest,
Sal xoxo

Yvette, a very sweet poem that expresses the superpower a mom possesses--my mom had them. She saw beauty where there was none, and hope, in utter despair. Good work. Good luck and best wishes.

Mom's are definitely special in so many ways, Cindy -- their vision is something we try to mimic, but we end up with a mixture of theirs and our own personal experiences... ;) :) Thanx for the review, my lady! ;) Yvette

I think you may have a contender here in your loop, Yvette! The intriguing illustration should draw reviewers, and the colorful presentation impress them. Before they know what they're doing, they'll have voted for you, regardless of the words.

Loops are usually a pain in my a**, Don - I've skipped contests out of frustration in trying to 'make it work' and not sound 'forced' (not even kidding)! ;) Glad you enjoyed this one, sir -- take care this week! ;) Yvette

Now that you know you can do it, your loops will come easier.
    Good luck in the voting!
