You are a talented and funny lady. It sounds like you have all of Washington pretty much pegged. The only thing I see that is out of character with the Trump character is I don't believe he knows the meanings of the three, four and five syllable words you let him speak. I enjoyed reading this. I'd give you six stars but unfortunately I'm all out.

Thank you, Beth. I'm always pleased to get a laugh, or at least a smile. I've got a 50-50 hit rate in that regard; hence, I am a bonafide half-wit. Cheers. LIZ

Fantastic story and I'm so sorry that I'm out of six, your story deserves a ten plus. I have read it us a entertaining sarcastic and witty story. I felt your soul pouring out in this piece; the disappointment and the hope with each new character. Thank you for sharing and good luck with your writings

Thank you, IZA! I appreciate the sentiment re the 10-plus! So pleased you were entertained. Glad to have scored in the wit department--my success rate therein runs about 50%--hence they call me a half-wit. Cheers. LIZ

It took a lot of insight and imagination combined to come up with such a lengthy (speech, soliloquy, script) giving the reader a variety of views to toss around. You do have quite a way with words.

Thank you, Susan. I had a great time with this piece--though I feel I shouldn't take credit--I just set the four of them up on their respective soapboxes and let them tear it up. Cheers. LIZ

A very interesting three-way point of view indeed. I just shake my head every time the current president speaks. That's all I'm going to say about that.
But I sure hope America has learned her lesson. We shall see. As you said, the answer is blowing in the wind!
All the very best. This was good.

Thank you, Janilou. I, too, hope the wind changes direction by November--alas, usually it blows by 8-year cycles. Cheers. LIZ

I must say that I thoroughly enjoyed this antidote to fake news! It would be fascinating to know what these people really think rather than what they say. You may be pretty close to it here at times! Worth a six if I had one left at this stage in the week.

Thank you, Tony, for the woulda-been-sixer. So pleased you were amused. You can be sure I had a ball in the creation. I just sat back and channeled the sound and the fury. Cheers. LIZ

A cynical satire of four people, three politicians, and one wife. It is a shame that it is probably so accurate. I hear the talking Democrat heads spout how the polls predict the doom of Trump. They seem to forget that Hillary had a double-digit lead on election day.
Bill could have put his troubles away with the truth. " I got a BJ big deal."
