I sure hope somebody remained and shot the gator. As having been a military spouse for 23 years, they don't leave a man behind. I'm sure somebody followed protocol. I can't wait for more.

A lot has happened in this chapter. It was easy to follow along thought the sequence of events. I had to laugh at the part about the moonshine, granny whopping him with her broom. I could picture it in my mind, lol. Why do I have the feeling she's pregnant? I do hope Bill can get out before the crock makes him his dinner. The mention of Johnny Cash brought back a pleasant memory of my daughter and me singing one of his songs, Daddy Sang Bass. I now wonder if it wasn't a sign of what was to become.
The chapter is well-written, interesting, I look forward to reading more.

A fine continuation of your love story. I love the way the whole family is involved and rooting them on. War can make a person feel so alone and it's so important to have the support of family. I love and was born in the foothills of the Blie Ridge Moumtains and listened to all the songs you provided. Thank you, a real treat. Who doesn't like Johnny Cash?
A small suggestion. Queasy would be a better adjective than topsy-turvy in relation to an upset stomach.

his is very well penned and thoroughly engaging end to end. The content flows beautifully and maintains its natural and believable cadence throughout. I think it will be rough for her if she is pregnant, but God handles all things so I am sure in the end all will be fine. Well done and thank you very much for sharing it.
