This short poem used great imagery in the most economic way -- saying all that's needed in the least amount of words. You've painted a complete picture for the reader of the two most powerful reactions we have towards the ones we love.

Wow, you almost used all the words in the same line. And your poem is intense. I guess these words are geared more towards romance and serious subjects than humor. Good luck in the contest.

A very well-written poem about fire and ice in a relationship that can both burn to bring damage in our lives, the passion burns like fire and the hate is as cold as ice when things go wrong.
