Poor Sammy. Did they finally give up and let him be? One of my boys went completely blank at his recital. He knew his piece backwards and forwards until he took the stage. The teacher did a wonderful thing: She put his music up and told the audience that she had forgotten to do that. he as fine then and played beautifully.

Beautiful story, damommy!! That teacher is worth her weight in gold! Did you son continue to take from her?
And, yes, poor Sammy finally got to stop taking lessons. I was happy for him. He was absolutely tortured by it.
