Rachel, I thoroughly enjoyed this read. You are a wonderful storyteller. Anachracide had me cracking up. Lol.
I do not know of this a true account or fiction, though I suspect this book is an autobiography.
I love the lessons learned after each account. So clever.

Thank you, John. Yes, it is definitely autobiographical. And I'm so glad to read that you enjoyed this chapter. For the record, though, it got posted to the wrong one of my chapter books. It's supposed to be in Lessons in the Key of Life. I'm trying o figure out how to change that. xo

Very interesting. You took on a difficult job and made it a success. I have done plays with eight-year-olds and know how hard it can be to get everyone working together. But it's so satisfying when it all comes together. The kids are so proud of their effort, and even with a few errors, the show is loudly applauded and worth all the work.
Where was this place with the shirtless law for both genders?

Rochester, NY. I have no idea if it's still on the books or not, though. (Mostly because I've always wanted to keep my shirt on in public...)

Hi Rachelle,
Ha ha ha! I really enjoyed this read, my friend. As always, your writing is flawless. The text editor inserted a few gremlins, though:
"inspired by the rawest of animal instincts.
ã??"
and after the end.
Thanks for sharing.
Jan :-)

I know. Thanks. I've been trying to edit those out. Plus, I have two chapters books going simultaneously, and this chapter should be in the OTHER book, Lessons in the Key of Life, not my Fly on the Wall journal. I'm trying to fix THAT, too. (This is when being a newbie to the site is NOT such a fun time!!)

Trying to imagine those tiny baby spiders running everywhere. LOL
"Should I make them stop?" gasped Rose.
"Absolutely not!" said I. "Why should she get to be the only who makes a statement?"
I love these lines! How true!
Looking at his cell phone, then at the audience, he exclaimed, "Oh look! A text message from Sarah! It says we're going to have a baby!"
I am loving this!
If I wasn't sitting in a hospital room with a patient, I'd be rolling around on the floor about now. This is so cute! And then they actually pulled it off! That is wonderful.
I wish I had a six star review left to give you. This was wonderful. I found no errors in your work and no edits needed.
All the best,
Jan
