This is a delightful autumn poem. The spring and summer are quite hectic times for people in their lives, but then it comes to autumn, and to winter, and we think back to the year that was, and are hopefully looking forward to the year that is approaching. Congratulations on your win.

Excellent, not only a poem about autumn, but a little comedy thrown in. I like the way you had the tree stripping. Great form for the poem, I also like the picture you chose. Good luck in the contest. You really paint a picture with this poem.

I have been off for a little while...and will be off again in a few days...I am in Florida by my family...was at my mothers...and she doesn't have the net...but my eyes were giving me some trouble...so I came back over by my daughters...so I will go back by mom and dad soon...they are getting sooooo old...88 and 90...every time I leave them I think it will be the last time I will see them...but they hang in there...sigh...I'm so glad I caught you...so good to see you...I hope all is well on the farm...love xxoo Linda

Hey, old friend, how the heck are you? I've really missed talking to you lately. Things are finally slowing down on the farm until about October. Thanks for asking.

So, you're in Florida, that's great. I hope your Mom and Dad are doing alright. There's nothing seriously wrong with your eyes, is it? I sure hope not. Let me know the first chance you get.

just some high pressure...but we are working on it...my allergies seem to be the biggest problem I have...can't take meds...but we will see what happens...sigh...I'm glad the farm is slowing down and you have a little time to write...I'm working on that myself...will go back to mom and dads tomorrow...you are always so welcome my sweet friend...and you take care as well...and be safe...love xxoo

A very well-written 5-7-5 poem about Autumn's strip show. The leaves fall one by one until their is nothing left and the bare limbs of the tree is all we see through the winter months.
